The Role: Project / Commercial Business Development Manager
As our new Project / Commercial Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the success and growth of GEORGE&HARRISON. This crucial position combines project management with commercial strategy, ensuring not only the smooth workflow of the studio but also contributing actively to the expansion of our client base and the exploration of new business opportunities. In this role, you will be the linchpin between our clients and the creative team, ensuring seamless planning and execution of projects. You will also take responsibility for key administrative tasks and support the financial administration. However, your most important task will be to drive our commercial ambitions by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients and partners, and contributing ideas for the development of new products and services that align with our clients’ needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Strategy:
Identify new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the agency.
You will work closely with the team to develop new products and services that meet our clients’ needs. - Project Management:
Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including planning, budgeting, timeline management, and resource coordination, ensuring projects are completed smoothly and successfully. - Client Relationships:
Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with our clients, acting as the first point of contact and advising them to achieve their goals. - Commercial Responsibility:
Actively contribute to GEORGE&HARRISON’s commercial objectives, including upselling to existing clients and closing contracts and agreements. - Success Monitoring:
Ensure high client satisfaction and monitor the financial profitability of projects. - Communication:
Clearly and promptly report on the progress of projects and commercial initiatives, both internally and to the client.
What We Are Looking For:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar role within an agency environment or from the client side.
- Strong commercial skills and experience in business development.
- Excellent project management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Fluent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- Passion for design and a strong affinity with the mission and vision of GEORGE&HARRISON.
