A bold, contemporary identity that casts knitting in a new light
CONTEXT
Knit in Motion (KiM) is a knit development and consultancy studio founded by designer Suzanne Oude Hengel. Bridging the gap between technical expertise and stylish knit design, KiM stakes out new territory. With a focus on functionality and a distinctive bold aesthetic, KiM aims to revolutionize the definition of knitting. The brand identity needed to reflect this innovative and contemporary approach.
CREATION
To help propel KiM towards a new phase of growth, we created a strong visual identity that captures its brand essence and communicates its unique, all-female approach to its field. Rather than adding unnecessary elements, we designed an understated and refined identity that accentuates the exceptional quality of KiM’s research and output. We showcase the beautiful and intriguing aesthetics of KiM’s work in all the brand compositions with their functional yet striking typography and clean layouts.
IMPACT
KiM is confidently striving for the next step in its professional development with the help of this clear and powerful visual identity. With it, KiM gains a unique voice to communicate its remarkable story, ambitious goals and razor-sharp focus through a wide range of media applications.
